This week has been a week of bubbles!

We have observed and discussed them, made our own mixture, tried to blow differently shaped bubbles and discovered how to push objects into one without popping it!
We also did some bubble painting.

Another highlight of the week has been the fantastic maths learning happening. There are some amazing thinkers in Room 7!

What a busy week again. Among other things this week we have done some problem solving with money, had our last Floorball lesson - but used some equipment on the field outside our room so we can practise our new skills and we have started to create our costumes for the production. We have been working with numbers to 100, doing a range of creating and constructing and were treated to a wonderful puppet show!

We were so lucky this week that the author Avril McDonald came to visit us. She writes books about dealing with emotions and she read some of her books to us.
In her books the characters share their worries to make themselves feel better. Others turn nightmare creatures into cute, funny creatures.
We also had to guess the emotion some children were showing.
We are lucky to have some of her books in our school library.

Have you ever tried building with ice cubes? It's quite tricky! Room 7 discovered that if you sprinkle salt on the ice it helps it to stick together!
This was one of our investigations this week.
Here are a few photos of some of this weeks learning.

Here are some photos of some of our maths activities, investigations and our first Floorball lesson.
